Welcome to Anima & Atman
Using the Power of Conversation
We help Individuals and Organisations
Change and Achieve Greatness
Click the logo to begin

We all live and work in increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environments.  Individuals and organisations that are unable (or unwilling) to adapt to change, experience reduced well-being and performance.  It is, therefore, essential that they are equipped to deal with contemporary challenges, rather than relying on approaches designed for more predictable times.

At Anima & Atman, we work in partnership with you, to help you achieve greatness. Using the power of conversation we create the conditions in which you can make sense of the world around you and identify the changes you want to make.  Conversations are of critical importance because we all live in a social world. This is especially true of the workplace, where individuals bring together their own unique skills, ideas and beliefs in order to realise their own goals and those of their employer.

This means organisations resemble ever-evolving communities, shaped and understood through shared experiences and stories. They are not machines, designed and built to work in predictable ways. If we change the conversation, we change the world around us.

Our Approach

We help our clients use the power of conversation to foster positive change.

Our Perspective

Overly-scientific approaches are limiting. We embrace subjectivity, in order to achieve results.

Our Values

Our CORE values are more than just a nice acronym, they’re at the heart of everything we do.

Coaching & Career Transitions, Head of Early Talent

A brilliant opportunity to ask the question about industry-wide assumptions and practices.

Organisational Design, In-house Counsel, Barclays

A very useful session, thoughtfully chaired and facilitated.

Organisational Design, Partner, Ashurst

The workshops were both helpful and inspiring. They provided some guiding light during the qualification process but also made me think beyond that. It has encouraged me to be more ambitious about my career in the years to come.

Career Transitions, Newly-Qualified Solicitor, Manchester

The programme was very thought-provoking and proved to be a useful medium for me to reflect on my career progress, in addition to establishing key objectives in relation to my qualification as a solicitor.

Coaching, Associate Solicitor, Dubai

A really positive process that if nothing else assured me that I wasn’t alone in some of my concerns about qualifying.  The course is well-grounded and I found the advice given was easy to transfer into practice.

Career Transitions, Newly-Qualified Solicitor, London

Following the career coaching, I am more confident and feel comfortable in approaching senior colleagues to discuss my career ambitions, something I wouldn’t have done prior to the coaching.

Coaching, Newly-Qualified Solicitor, Birmingham

The workshops and one-to-one sessions stood out as being truly tailored to our benefit and as such were most engaging.

Career Transitions, Newly-Qualified Solicitor, London

Failing to secure my preferred role at qualification came as a surprise and really knocked my confidence. The support I received from my outplacement coach helped me to quickly refocus, learn from the experience and obtain my current role.

Outplacement, Associate Solicitor, London

I found the coaching really helpful and wholeheartedly believe that it should be provided for future graduates.  It was extremely insightful and relaxed, so I felt comfortable to ask any question I wanted. Edward was really approachable and gave honest, frank answers, which is really appreciated at our level.

Coaching, Newly-Qualified Solicitor, Leeds

The workshops focused my mind on the small but effective steps that I need to take to achieve success during my legal career.  I will seek to apply these changes to my everyday practices, in order to create long-term success.

Career Transitions, Associate Solicitor, London

Although I was not retained at the firm at which I trained, I quickly secured interviews at a number of other firms.  The outplacement support I received really helped me navigate the offer process and plan my relocation to a different city and legal jurisdiction.

Outplacement, Associate Solicitor, Bristol

Approaching qualification I was apprehensive about how to give the best account of myself possible. The coaching provided pragmatic and candid advice, which ensured that I was well-equipped for the selection process, and helped me secure my preferred role.

Coaching, Associate Solicitor, Glasgow

The workshops were incredibly useful and encouraged me to consider approaches to progressing my career that had never been on my radar before. It was an invaluable opportunity to identify my key skills and selling points.
